As the director of Mattole Valley Charter School's resource center, I am charged with sharing new curriculum ideas with our staff. At the last monthly meeting, I set up a computer and digital projector, navigated the YDACS website, and ended by showing the video, "Girls Designing Video Games." This short video was clincher for interest. The best part was when the girl in the video showed and talked about her Marine Science video game. This was a perfect example of cross-curricular applications of these courses. Check it out!
